Boston WINS the Atlantic Cup!! Hip Hip HOORAY!!

Hello everyone,

Under the superb leadership of Captain Brian Frasier, Tennis4all won the 2022 Atlantic Cup last month in Philadelphia.

The Atlantic Cup is an annual team tournament contested among four cities: New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.

In the Atlantic Cup’s 30 year history, until this year, Boston has never won an Atlantic Cup on the road.  Brian clearly got the most out of his 20-member team, comprised of all levels (Open, A, B, C and D level players).

Not only did Tennis4all win, we DOMINATED!!  Boston had nearly twice the amount of match wins than the 2nd place city.

Boston has won 2 of the last 4 Atlantic Cups under Captain Frasier’s leadership.  Prior to Brian, tennis4all had won once in 26 years!!  This was a tremendous feat.  It is difficult to get 20 people to do anything – even more so to get them to travel on their own dime to a visiting city and play together as a team.

Hip Hip Hooray to Captain Frasier and tennis4all Boston.  Next year Boston hosts the Atlantic Cup.  Can we repeat?? I think so!!

Please join me in giving Brian and the t4a Atlantic Cup team a big virtual hug and high five!

Sincerely,

Steve Menichetti
