After a great time last year, we’ll return again this year to weekend tennis camp at Stratton Mountain in beautiful southern Vermont July 25-27, 2025. We have room for up to 24 players to join. All tennis levels are welcome.

Weekend Tennis Getaway ($250 base price plus $10 PayPal fee*)

Run by the Cliff Drysdale Tennis School at Stratton Mountain, the getaway package is designed to enjoy the morning drilling on the outdoor clay tennis courts with a mountain view and spending Saturday afternoon and evening exploring Stratton mountain, the nearby town of Manchester, or playing more tennis or pickleball.

Tennis4All has gotten a discounted rate of $250 (price is $280 if purchased direct). The weekend package includes:

  • Friday Night Round Robin and Mixer (Meet the Pros) 5:30 -7:00 pm
  • Saturday Morning Clinic 9:30 am-12 pm
  • Sunday Morning Clinic 9:30 am-12 pm
  •  1 60-minute 1:1 private lesson scheduled during the weekend or before the weekend
  • Optional if you can handle this much tennis: Cardio tennis Saturday and Sunday morning 8:30 to 9:30 am.
  • Use of the facility including newly renovated hard courts and new pickleball courts

The clinics will have a 4:1 player to pro ratio with 1 pro per court. The tennis pros will put the same level players on the same court during the clinics, so you will have the opportunity to learn and practice with players close to your level.

How to Register

Spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. Your spot is not confirmed until you have registered on the Tennis4All website and paid in full.* You can cancel for a full refund minus Paypal or Venmo fee until July 12, 2025. If you must cancel, please try to withdraw as far out as possible so that players on the waiting list can have advanced notice.

*Want to save a little money? *To save $10 by avoiding the Paypal fee, you may send a check for $250 within one week to Treasurer Steve Backhaus. Or, to save $5, Venmo $255 to @tennis4all. Let Steve know if you’d like to pay by Venmo or check by emailing stevebackhaus@hotmail.com.

Lodging

The tennis package does NOT include lodging, and you are responsible for booking your own lodging. This year, we are trying to coordinate a few house rentals in the area among attendees (Airbnb or VRBO). If you would like a spot in a rental or would consider renting a house and offering spots to others, please let Steve know. If you’d prefer a more traditional hotel room, the Black Bear Lodge is very conveniently located to the tennis courts. Additional housing options may also be found at stratton.com.

Meals

The tennis package also does NOT include meals, and you are responsible for your own meals. On Friday evening, after the round robin, we’ll continue our tradition of dining at Honeypie, a very Vermont experience where you order at the window of this roadside diner and then sit outside a picnic tables. And you should try the actual honeypie. (eatathoneypie.com) On Saturday evening, we’ll organize some form of group dinner either at the tennis facility or at one of the rentals – details to come.

Weekend tennis camp is one of Tennis4All’s favorite traditions. We hope you join us this year!
