Our very popular pickleball socials are back.  We’re hosting our first social at Woburn Racquet Club, 6 courts (tennis courts 1-3). Details below. Register now to reserve your spot.

WHAT: 2 hours of pickleball doubles on indoor courts. Standard pickleball mixer format (one game and rotate).

WHO: We have 6 pickleball courts and space for 32 players. If all 32 players show up, you will play approximately 75 percent of the time in the mixer format. After one game, you will come off the court and get back in line with 3 other players for next available court.

All pickleball levels are welcome. For any beginners, we will offer some basic instruction and practice on one court. Most tennis players are able to pick up pickleball well enough to play a game within 20-30 minutes. If you have never played pickleball OR tennis, please contact activity director Steve Backhaus before signing up.

HOW MUCH: $15 for Tennis4All members, $20 for non-members. Some snacks and beverages afterward are included in the price.  Refunds will be offered if you cancel at least 48 hours before the event, minus the PayPal fee. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the event.

WHAT ELSE: You will need to bring your own pickleball paddle. A limited number of extra paddles may be available first come first served. Contact Steve Backhaus (stevebackhaus@hotmail.com) if you are hoping to borrow a paddle. If you don’t have a pickleball paddle, you may as well buy one now because you’re going to be addicted to pickleball very soon. 🙂

Join us afterward at 10 pm in the social space for beverages and some snacks. Dinner is not provided, so please plan accordingly. Beer, wine, and soft drinks will be served. Feel free to BYOB. Food and drink are not allowed on the courts.
